AN ACT
Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in preliminary
provisions, providing for prohibition on reduction of
damages.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
ยง 5112. Prohibition on reduction of damages.
Estimations, measures or calculations of past, present or
future damages for lost earnings or impaired earning capacity
resulting from personal injury or wrongful death shall not be
reduced based on race, ethnicity or gender.
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
