Subject: Allowing wineries to offer small games of chance.
 
Pennsylvania currently authorizes tavern games at for-profit hotels, restaurants, privately owned golf courses, brewpubs, and microbreweries who obtain a license to do so.  However, wineries are excluded from offering tavern games which are pull-tabs, tavern daily drawings and tavern raffles.  It is illogical to allow these games to occur for the brewpubs and microbreweries and not the wineries.
 
My legislation would allow wineries to participate in tavern games to help bolster their business, increase their clientele, and increase revenue.  My proposal will put wineries on a more level playing field.
 
Join me in supporting our state’s wineries by giving them to offer tavern games.
