WHEREAS, Aspiring entrepreneurs seek to establish and grow

successful ventures within this Commonwealth, leveraging its

unique blend of culture, tradition and technological prowess;

and

WHEREAS, The journey of a startup is marked by distinct

stages, challenges and opportunities, reflecting the audacity of

visionaries who dare to address unmet needs; and

WHEREAS, Startup founders courageously embrace risks and

breathe life into innovative ideas; and

WHEREAS, From the bustling streets of Philadelphia to the

innovation corridors of Pittsburgh, startups are shaping

industries, leaving an indelible mark on this Commonwealth's

economic landscape; and

WHEREAS, Startups span various industries, from tech to

health care, and inspire others to dream big and create lasting

impact; and

WHEREAS, During "Commonwealth Startup Week," it is important

to recognize the diligence, ingenuity and unwavering dedication

of startups across this Commonwealth, acknowledging their

significant contributions to economic growth and job creation;

pursuit of success; and

WHEREAS, By embracing innovation, imagination and hard work,

Pennsylvanians collectively build thriving businesses that

contribute to this Commonwealth's dynamism; and

WHEREAS, "Commonwealth Startup Week" provides a unique

opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit by sharing

success stories and the remarkable resilience of startups;

therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the

week of March 18 through 24, 2024, as "Commonwealth Startup
